Description
Established in 2003 and inaugurated by His Highness the Aga Khan and the late President Mwai Kibaki, the Academy was the first in what would become a global network of Aga Khan Academies, now spanning Kenya, India, Mozambique, and Bangladesh. Situated on an 18-acre campus in the Kizingo area of Mombasa, its architecture draws inspiration from the Swahili coastal tradition, a school that looks and feels like it belongs exactly where it is. As a fully authorised IB World School, the Academy offers education of the highest standard, built around a multicultural student body and an experienced team of educators, with a clear mission: to prepare students for lives defined by leadership and service.
