At TSK, we approach education in a holistic way and focus on the unique developmental needs of each individual child. The curriculum offers key areas of study:Language,Mathematics, practical life, sensorial and culture.
Practical life: Practical life incorporates exercises and activities that children observe in daily life. They resemble everyday activities as they use materials that are both breakable and functional. These activities develop children’s independence, concentration, and fine motor skills.
Sensorial: Sensorial activities teach children to refine their senses of sight, touch, sound, smell and taste. This involves the manipulation of specifically designed materials that isolate the senses. Exposure to sensory information, such as dimension, color, shape, texture, smell, and taste, helps your child classify and categorize the things around them as they explore the world.
Mathematics:Mathematics teaches children to count, identify and match numerals to their quantity, relate decimal quantities and symbols, and become aware of the functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Language:Language exercises focus on increasing children’s listening skills, comprehension, and vocabulary.Building a strong vocabulary sets the foundation for understanding the importance of communication and developing increased reading and writing skills.
Culture:This area of learning helps children discover the world around them and understand their own significance in it.Through explorations of culture, children develop an understanding of their community, their world, and their social responsibilities. Children learn to respond to diversity with respect, appreciate music and art, and develop awareness of sustainability.
