Founded in 1931 by Peter and Jean Lavers with just 15 children, St. Andrew's School Turi has grown into one of the leading international boarding schools in the region, now serving over 600 students. Situated within a beautiful 450-acre estate in the highlands of the Great Rift Valley, this Christian, co-educational boarding school offers a British curriculum education to students aged 5 to 18, guided by the mission of "Seeking the Highest with Christ as our Guide.
St. Andrew's comprises a Prep School of 250 pupils aged 3 to 13, and a Senior School of 370 students aged 13 to 18. The Senior School leads to IGCSEs in Year 11, and the Sixth Form College offers an A-Level curriculum. Beyond examinations, the school lays considerable emphasis on leadership and responsibility, with a view to sending students into the world to live and lead with Courage, Integrity, and Compassion.

Unique Features
Turi offers co-curricular activities that are seldom found in other schools across the region. These include music, LAMDA, orchestras, stage productions, and an annual Orchestral Weekend; outdoor adventure, water activities, archery, and structured leadership pathways. All prep school pupils are active members of Uniformed Organisations, Guides, Scouts, and Chipettes, where pupils learn life skills. Senior School students are expected to complete the Turi Leadership Award programme by Year 13. Annual stage productions are a highlight of the school calendar, and children study individually towards ABRSM music qualifications.
