CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Braeburn Schools (Kenya) is an executive role responsible for driving smooth day-to-day operations and guaranteeing operational excellence across the company. As a key member of the Executive Committee (ExCo), the COO will have the shared responsibility for the strategic vision and direction of BSL and will be required to establish and enforce efficient operational strategies, processes, and procedures that support the company’s long-term business targets.
The COO will oversee and be accountable for the group’s operations in Transport, Procurement, Catering, Technical Services, and Braeburn Services, ensuring every school receives the logistical support required to deliver world-class education. They will provide visionary leadership to a multi-functional support management team, promoting operational best practices and fostering collaboration across all campuses to maintain premium brand positioning.
This position demands a highly collaborative leader who can work effectively across the organization to promote strategic growth and future expansion. The COO reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on operational reporting and work in tandem with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to ensure rigorous budget oversight, seeking out sustainability and cost-saving efficiencies in every actions.
