Hillcrest International Schools are seeking an exceptional Head of Hockey to lead and inspire our Hillcrest Hockey Club. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver a comprehensive and ambitious programme that nurtures players from enthusiastic beginners to high-performance athletes (from primary-aged-children through to Under 21s).

The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of the Kenya school, club, and national hockey circuits, alongside experience in high-performance environments and exceptional administrative and communication skills.  They will also hold an EH Level 3 qualification or possess an FIH Level 3 (or higher) coaching award. Reporting to the Chief Excellence and Innovation Officer, the Head of Hockey will assume overall responsibility for the Hillcrest Hockey Club Programme, including:

? Strategic Leadership: Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the sport, including planning, coaching,and competition management.

? Team Management: Leading and inspiring a team of coaches and interns to foster a supportive, safe,and high-performance environment.

? Pathway Development: Building robust links with external clubs, and The National Governing Body.

? Future Transition: Establishing connections, for example with universities, to sustain Hillcrest’s

performance pathways and support athletes in their sporting careers beyond school.
